Macaron Fabric

The definition of yarn in the literature is yarn with a wavy appearance created by feeding roving onto the basic yarn. Three types of yarn are used in macaron yarn production:

– Effect material, main (basic, direct, main) thread and binding thread
– Effect material; Macaron is the most important component as it forms the effect part in the yarn.
– Adds aesthetic value to macaron yarn.

The effect material does not have a solid structure. When fabric is produced from macaron yarns, the effect material remains on the fabric surface and gives the fabric a different appearance. Depending on the fiber type and length, 250-2000 tex is used as a roving effect material.
